I am happy to report I have finished a set of ATiRi speakers.  I used a sheet of BB plywood pre-veneered in bubinga 'waterfall' burl and finished it with a few coats of polyurethane. I also made a cover for the passive radiator in the back. 
I've been listening to them for a few days at home and at my friend's place. ATiRi really sounds good with an open and clear highs.  I am listening to my favorite tracks while switching between Faital 10-430 and ATiRi. They both sound very nice and ATiRi seems to have more details in the highs, just the way I was hoping for.  I will definitely enjoy both sets of speakers for some time to come.
