I have finally completed building your bookshelf speakers.
 
They are fantastic. I am very happy with the end result. They are very bright, clear and produce a lovely sound.
 
Thank you so much for your help along the way as well!!
 
Just one comment, this is the first set of speakers that I have built and as such do not have any other parts etc other than what you provided in the kit. Everything went well, instructions and diagrams, photos was all very helpful. I did run a bit short on the red/black internal wiring. But, perhaps that was just the way I cut the wire.
 
Finally, this has been a thoroughly rewarding experience and I now have a fantastic set of speakers that I am sure will last me the rest of my life (and probably then some more).

Here are a couple of pictures. Probably not quite what you had in mind for bookshelf speakers.
I have painted them white, the same as the walls, so they are a bit stealth! (Although the boxes are quite big).
