Hello Troels, the latest from Belgium, after my good experience with the CA15RLY I was wondering how it would be if I tried the CA18RLY version. The CA15 had a very spacious presentation and a lovely midrange combined with more bass than one would expect from a 5" (I did increase the resistor to the tweeter to 6,8 ohm).
The CA18 keeps the quality of the former but adds a bit of bottom end, so I'm very pleased with the lively sound combined with ample bass (again the resistor to the tweeter was increased to 3,3 ohm ). I know in your latest update you said it's diffcult to go back from your HES to something boring like a 2 way but all things considered these speakers are a fine compromise to satisfy both men and women.
