SEAS CNO-Grande, built by Frank

Hello!

We have absolutely thoroughly been enjoying a pair of your CNO Grandes completed in late 2023 (see attached pictures for a brief, messy idea of how they turned out). They are currently being used with a Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 for a simple system that is more than loud enough w/ extremely high ease of use with room correction to boot!

My partner and I are now planning to expand the system in the low end somewhat for music but mostly video games and movies, and since commercial subs are always such boring square boxes our dream is to have the same woodworker commissioned again for a matching (pair?) of your ScanSpeak sub!

Your CNO-4 uses a 12" BMS woofer (as well as the W22 compared to the grande's W18) and you recommended 12" for the AT-3WCs in the scanspeak sub article. These two points seem to guide me to the 12" version, but the idea of having two 45cm cubes is a tad daunting. With this in mind I wanted to reach out if you had any guidance such as one or two modules as well as the wildcard of adding a second passive radiator as mentioned in your article. Our current listening room is about 4.5m wide and 9m long with 4m tall ceilings, but that will change in the coming year or two.

Warmly,
frank
