CNO mkII, built by Robbin, The Netherlands

Hi Troels,
after 2 years I finally managed to finished my CNO-mkII. It was a real learning experience and I really enjoyed it. I was a bit shocked as the end result didn't really sounded like it suposed to. In the end I found out it was just the placing of the speakers which caused a lot of standing waves in my living room. I never had this problem with my former speakers as they where a closed box design and don't go as low as the CNO does. They sound amazing and I'm in the process of rediscovering my music collection again.
I've added some pictures and hopefully I will make it in the hall of fame as well.
Maybe a few pointers for people also in process of building this speaker:
* I bought all parts myself, which is fine but make sure you experiment with different damping materials. There is really a lot of difference between them.
* Mark all wooden peaces so you are sure which part goes where.
* Move the speaker arround to find the best location. I think this applies to all speakers anyway.
I would like to thank you for your design and especially your help. I must say my friends do not even respond as fast as you do on e-mails ;-)
Regards Robbin
