Finally my speakers got some real wood veneer (Zebrano) with 3 coats of
mat lacquer. I'm very happy with the result. I've made also grille cloth
protections for front and back. On back I used also a metal grille and
felt material. Due to the fact that my brother is trying to build some
of his own speakers: 3 way with Silver Flute midrange/bass an a Morel
tweeter, I've purchased a measurement microphone (Dayton Audio UMM-6
USB) and an external usb sound card (Behringer) to do measurements.
Having this on my hand I've installed REW software on my laptop and made
measurements to my DTQWT. Please find attached the results. Tweeter
attenuation is 1 ohm, frequency response measured for three distances:
0.5m, 1.0m and listening position (aprox. 2m). These are my first
