Buonasera signor
Gravesen

voluta, l’altra no.
senza rompere nulla in queste condizioni d’uso?
Saluti
Google translation to English:
Good evening, Mr. Gravesen
I have also designed a pair of speakers designed by her, the DTQWT mkIII.
I send you a short review and if you will, you can publish it on your
site.
I apologize but I do not speak English.
I also send photos, one by email.
I thank you and greet you cordially

Hello
I am a "do-it-yourself" lover and I decided to build the DTQWTs. The
materials used and found in the city where I live are: 18 mm thick for
birch plywood while the mediodense is not black. The boxes now weigh
well over 30 kilos. For the front chestnut boards I had to make use of
the help of a carpenter.
During the construction phase, I noticed that all the information
published by Mr. Troels was well balanced and reduced to the essentials,
so pay attention to his article!
The aesthetic result you see in the photos is due to two causes, one
intentional, the other not.
1) I really did not like the idea of having to fix the crossover in
the loudspeaker trumpet and to hide its beautiful components from view.
2) The carpenter, for a trivial misunderstanding, he handed over to me
in addition to the two frontal boards, the 4 back strips of support for
the woofer. I had already glued my in birch so I was immediately and
spontaneously born the idea to use them as you see in the photographs.
Moving on to the description of the sound reproduced, the speakers must
undoubtedly be firstly tested. Then the high efficiency that these
speakers have, immediately stands out from the first note reproduced,
regardless of the value of the volume on which the amplifier is
positioned. I have also tested these speakers in other domestic
environments other than mine and in one of them they give a precision in
the details of the sound that there is not in my house. Very amazed, I
double-checked the assembly several times and I spent time to find an
ideal position as much as possible. So from September 2018 until today,
February 2019, of tests, checks, various tests I have done dozens with
the result that it is the environment of my home that "downgrades" the
sound. With such speakers, how easy it is to find good recorded CDs! Or,
vice versa, find out how many are registered badly !!! L In the
crossover I used the 1 ohm resistor for the R1011 resistor.
I really like listening to organ music and these speakers are up to the
task: I regularly notice that the membranes of the midrange oscillate so
intensely and to a much greater extent than the woofers I'm afraid to
turn up the volume! So I ask you, Mr. Troels, to what extent can these
speakers be piloted without breaking anything in these conditions of
use? I inform you that my amplifier is one of the many solid-state
commercial 30 + 30W RMS and that the CD I listen to can have frequencies
even at 40Hz. Currently, I do not run the mid-range of the amplifier
knob.
Finally, to thank Mr. Troels, you can see what I have glued on the front
(and not rear) panels of the speakers.
Greetings
