To be able to run my MC cartridges through other MM-only phono stages, I need an external SUT. Being more than happy with the step-up units of my EAR-912 pre-amp, I didn't consider going elsewhere. Thus, Yoshono EAR-MC4 was the obvious choice. Having 3, 6, 12 and 40 Ohm load options, I can't think of a SUT more versatile. Tim apparently knew how he wanted these trannies wound.
