Troels,
This has been a journey of wood working experience. I have to admit you tube was my tutor. First I had to build a work bench for my garage.
Decided to use 25mm MDF. For the speakers. Adjusted the measurements to follow the inside volume to Troels' drawings.
Building the crossovers was so satisfying.
Cutting routing and gluing the cabinets was challenging because my cutting skills lack some experience.
I knew from the beginning that I want to veneer the sides and thought to paint the front. Paint sucked so I veneered the front as well. 5 layers of varnish for finishing. I might want to do some more layers on a later date.

The sound these speakers produce is outstanding. This is my second day of listening.  ZZ Top The Grange. (Tidal)The balance between very punchy bass guitar and voice just makes me happy.
Michael Jackson Beat it. (Record) Never heard it so clear and well defined. These speakers can play loud and clear + 105db on this one.
Pink Floyd.  Money. (Record) Pleasing clear precise, every breath gets to you. Khatia Buniatishvili Mozart piano concerto no 20. (Tidal). Now I can hear all the instruments in good classical recordings. The little details when the contra bass do the little swoosh. Just like being in Sydney Opera house. Love the sound there. Shari Hall, Stay (Tidal) My favourite song written by my wife for me.
Regards
Jens.
