After more than two years, I would like to send you a report about my EKTA mkII.
I was looking for a high-quality, time-coherent three-way speaker with paper cones, reasonably high sensitivity, and not an excessive amount of bass, as I planned to integrate two subwoofers into the system. The EKTA fulfilled all of these criteria, so I decided to build them without ever having heard them before. 
Well, actually my father built them. They are made entirely from solid beech wood.
To be honest, we massively underestimated this project. A well-meant piece of advice to anyone considering building speakers from solid wood instead of plywood or MDF: don't do it!
The speakers follow your design exactly. The only difference is that the crossover networks are housed in separate enclosures. In my opinion, this improves the proportions and makes the speakers look even more elegant.
As for the sound, I am absolutely impressed. And I honestly believe that I have not yet reached the end of what these speakers are capable of. I would like to thank you very much for sharing your designs with the world. It would never have been possible for me to buy a commercially available speaker that comes close to this level of quality.
