Dear Troels.
After more than half year, my Ekta Grande is finished! Well, almost, I'm still waiting Twaron for damping (currently it's Visaton sheep's wool). Entire box is made of Baltic birch ply wood. On front, I put additional 14mm of HDF. Total front thickness is 62mm. Weight of one box is 45 kg!
My first impression is extremely positive. Because I'm too biased, I invite few friends and they all confirm that sound is simply amazing...Perfect integration between all units, very flat response in my room (I'm using one port) and very transparent mid and hi range... I will send you more impression in coming weeks.
