Good morning Mr. Gravesen.
I am writing to thank you for providing me (through your web site) with the design of my Faital 3WC-10 (materials from Jantzen Audio). I have them up and running and going through the breaking in period. Even at this stage they are a great improvement on my original 40 year old, DIY. Kit speakers. From your web site photos you seemed to have lined the inside with 15mm. plywood. I could only get 18mm. ply so I lined the inside with that. Yours would have been 35mm thick (20 +15mm.) mine are 18 +18mm. but I doubled the back and front and compensated by increasing the dimensions slightly to keep the internal Volume the same. I am not as young as I used to be, and the result was I could not lift them by myself! I did not have very much faith in my soldering so I decided to put the crossovers on the back (outside, see photo) where I could get at them to fix any problems however they seem to be working fine.
My system is only for playing Vinyl records: Linn LP12. MC preamp, into an old Lentek Amplifier. And then to your new speakers. I have decided to retire the amp after many long years. And I have on order a Willsenton R800i.-845. Tube amp. My first Tube amp. Living in the North of Scotland I do not get the chance to audition equipment so I have to buy on what I read in reviews, so I hope it is okay. I am buying it from China and it should be here in a couple of weeks.
Sorry to go on so long, thanks once again for your design and excellent web site.
Kind regards
Adrian
