Here a few pictures from the construction of an Illuminator-71 in floor standing version.
A pre veneered (american walnut) board was used. Not the easiest method, as hobbyist I think mdf and then as last step veneering will by easier.
The major sawing work was done by a professional woodworker, because I have only a few electric hand tools.
For milling there also made some help pieces. It was a learning process.
The sound became very nice after many hours of playing. Nothing to comment on, very happy with these.
As protection against UV sunlight there are protection grills made. Speaker bases are made of stainless steel material for stairs.
