Hi Troels,
Greetings from Suffolk, Virginia in the US ........ Just wanted to let you know that I finished my Jensen 1071 build about a week and half ago. Right off the bat I am very pleased with the sound, very detailed and balanced from top to bottom. Nice clean tight bass when the music requires it and a very wide sound stage. Will be interested to see how they sound with a little time on them.
Instead of two separate cabinets I went for a single box with a separate bass section internally. Construction is a mix of mdf and Baltic birch plywood and finished of with automotive paint. Driver placement, front baffle dimensions, and cabinet volumes are as you specified them, with a little cosmetic tweaking for the rest.
