I finally completed my Nomex 164 mkII today. The components from Jantzen have been on the shelf since September of 2017 waiting patiently for me to free some time up. I wasn't in a rush as I had my DTQWT mkII to listen to. I found someone that wanted the DTQWT's so that was my push to finally complete the 164's. All I can say is WOW! You were not kidding when you said the Nomex drivers deliver a level of detail far beyond their price expectations.  They have barely begun to break in and already are delivering details I never heard with the DTQWT's. Bass is decent and the vocals are fantastic. I highly recommend the 164's to anyone looking to build a "budget" floor standing speaker. I think I will eventually add either a 10" or 12" sub to fill in the bottom end.  I have completed a number of your designs over the years and have never been disappointed. Thank you for all your great designs!!
