After a few months of working on your projects, I managed to finish the Nomex MKIIs and the Scanspeak 26W subwoofer. I'm thrilled with the sound and the detail they produce. 
The soundstage is wide and enveloping, yet never intrusive. I'd say I'm very satisfied! 
Had some issues with the subwoofer's high-level setting; the new DSP3-224 firmware from the Hypex filter design probably has a few more features. In the end, I had to adjust the presets by about +12 dB, and everything worked fine. 
I still don't understand why, but after several tests, this was the best option for now. I'll try other solutions in the future. Now the bass feels precise, fast, and unobtrusive.
