Check out my Daughters Christmas Present, Revelator-51’s.
Over the late summer I was staring at an extra piece of 25mm Baltic birch and after some quick calculations I determined I had enough for the Rev-51 (I did make them deeper to account for the thicker wood). I went about building them and then when my daughter moved into her new apartment, I realized these would be perfect for her smaller family room, so I continued the build, which was an easy one, then I finished them in a retro color I know she likes and also built some matching stands if she needs them.
I have them setup in the garage, I added a subwoofer crossed at 70hz just to add a little fullness to the bottom end, threw a Bluesound Powernode to get her started and WOW, I love these speakers, those 5” mid-woofers have a beautiful sound (natural, detailed, and so easy to listen to), they integrate seamlessly with the tweeter. My daughter loves 70’s rock and country (thus the sub) and this setup will be perfect for her.
I noticed not many people writing about these speakers, they should give them a try, they are relatively inexpensive, easy to build, sound wonderful, perfect as a family gift to introduce the younger guys to some refined music, they can even be put on a shelf and maybe get wife acceptance in a main family room. These are a great addition to the family. Now my other daughter wants me to build her a pair of speakers for her apartment, gotta think about my next project now.

I really do appreciate all your designs, I have now built the bookshelfs, the seas center channel, fatial 3wc-15, 3wc-10's and now these. I would never have been able to enjoy music like I do now if I had to buy any of these, I'm not a rich guy.
My family has become fans of quality music, just 2 days ago I have the fatial 10's playing christmas music in the family room and the wife sat down for 2 hours and just listened quietly, probably never heard better music in her life with all those big orchestras in the background and the doris day's, frank sinatra's, dean martin's all with their wonderful voices. Those fatial 10's are perfect for our family room/kitchen, we listen to them in the morning over coffee every weekend for a few hours.
