Dear Troels,
Thanks for sharing your great designs with a lot of details with the audio enthusiasts around the world! I have recently completed the construction of the SBA-761 design and I am delighted with the result.
When comparing the different models I needed to decide whether to go for the SBA-761 or the SBA-16 MTM. The 1st order filter drew my attention as I listen a lot to classical (chamber and orchestra) music and jazz so I settled on the 761. I upgraded the kit offered by Jantzen with the Amber Z-Cap.
Construction was rather straightforward and a nice job during the Corona lock-down. Although originally I planned to use clear varnish on the Russian birch plywood, i changed my mind when they where placed in our living room. So they are now stained in a dark color.
How do they sound? The simple answer is: very natural, transparent, great sound stage, open. There are no sharp edges, no bumpy low. It sounds very easy and the musicality of the Naim Uniti Atom pairs great with these speakers. By the way I did use the TW29RN-B-8. Attached some pictures during the building process.
Thanks again and please continue your great job!
Regards, Jouke
