During almost a year, I have been working on a pair of SBA- 7MD.
 
I'm very satisfied with the result, though my woodworker skills are not as high as I would like. Small flaws in esthetics, but fortunately not any that should interfere with the sound of the speakers. (to my knowledge, that is)
They have been build in 22 mm Beech, in opposition to the 20 mm Birch in the original design. It is not a deliberate choice, but a simple matter of circumstance.

For now they are driven by a NAD C368 Amplifier. I'm looking for a upgrade to this amp, but I do not know where or what to look for.
NAD M 33 is on my mind, but any suggestions and thoughts are most welcome. 
I prefer rhythmic music, jazz, blues, pop.
