Troels and Michael hi
Just an update on the above project. It took me 5 weeks of steady progress to complete the build. It was a pleasure to go through the process. The journey was made easy by the meticulous and detailed instructions provided by Troels. If there was a hickup on my part I knew I could reach out for help, so thank you both for the incredible service and dedication you provide.
As far as the speakers are concerned, well what can I say. I have been running them-in daily for two weeks now and they are blossoming. There is clear sign that they will continue to improve over the next 100 hours of use.
I think the thing which surprises me the most is why more folk are not building them. Pound for pound they are the best value speaker in Troels catalogue.
Before building these I tried many commercial products, the last one being the Warfedale Elision 4s Which are nearly 4 times the price and the 941s stand their ground. In most cases I prefer the overall presentation of the 941s. My front end feeding the speakers is quite refined and these speakers do justice to my pain staking and progressive investments. The speakers have remarkable presence, tamber, heft and imaging. Topped by breathtaking detail and delivery.
Finally, I just wanted to express my heart felt gratitude to Troels for literally giving away his life's work to a world wide fan base.
Thank you to both of you for unrelenting help and support. I am indebted.
