18-12-2025:
Hello Troels,
I finally completed the center channel speaker to pair with my TL2s. I forgot to take many pictures during the build, but will include what I have. This is one very large and heavy speaker, but oh man… what a front soundstage it presents when paired with the TL2s on movies!

I am still in awe of my TL2 experience, and they have opened so many new (to me) doors leading to musical enjoyment and sometimes pure joy. I listen to music in stereo only, but having a home theater bypass on my preamp allows me to use the same main amp/speaker combination for both, which means my wife enjoys it too. I have been investing a good bit more on equipment because it is clear to me that these speakers will never be my weak link. Maybe that’s a downside, but at this stage of my life I am happy to explore and discover, so thanks for making that accessible to me!

2023:
Hello Troels!
I am attaching a picture of my build of The Loudspeaker II, which I completed in December 2021. This speaker has led me on a very pleasant journey toward upgrading my entire 2 channel system. They are by far the best I have had in my home by a large margin, and I thank you for the design and instruction!

I removed my center channel speaker after installing TL2 because it sounded way too small compared to TL2. It sounds fine without, but is there a center channel speaker in your lineup that would be a closer match?

Finally, I will be attending AXPONA in a couple of days, and really want to hear your new A50-II speaker. I don’t see Scan-Speak listed as an exhibitor. Would it list under a different name, or would you happen to know where they are going to be? This will be my first big audio show (I am almost 70, so now is the time) so I don’t really know what to expect, but maybe a bit overwhelming.

Thanks again for the many hundreds of enjoyable hours I have spent on your website over the years and for the TL2!
