Hi Troels, I'm sending you a few photos of the recently completed TL2 loudspeakers. It's hard to count which project from Your site it is that I have built:) It's definitely the biggest one - I knew they wouldn't be small, but they seem huge when placed in the room. For comparison, in one photo they're standing next to what I thought were large two-way speakers with a 15-inch speaker in a closed enclosure and a 65CDN-T (a wonderful speaker - I recommend it) with a tube . The construction went smoothly and relatively quickly, I like the minimalistic - for a four-way construction with PA speakers - result. Even the silver Beymas don't spoil the whole thing. As for the sound - since they've been playing for maybe two hours, I shouldn't say anything yet, but - the stage is the widest I've had from any speakers - that's what caught my ears the most. In addition, the dynamics, speed of attack, liveliness, lack of distortion - even a short listening session allows me to confirm them. As for Beyma - I initially assumed that a supertweeter might not be necessary - I guess I was wrong - I was surprised by how much information flows from Beyma - I'm not deaf yet :) I've read in one of the reviews that the TL2 sound too sharp - I was afraid of that because I am sensitive to the intersection of the midrange and the top. For now, I will write that they approach sharpness but do not exceed its limit - no worries here. Bass - after two hours, there is probably no point in writing about it. for now there is not much bass, although in my room it goes down to 26 Hz. What surprised me was that one speaker has a huge dip around 50 Hz and the other 80 Hz - I bet it is because of lack of burn-in or the placement/room modes. Or maybe I've made a mistake with crossovers, have to check them. Despite the obvious lack of burn-in, after listening to fragments of two symphonies - I think that I finally have speakers that can reproduce the sound of an orchestra - TL2 are good, very good for that job. And if they can do this, they can do anything. Thank you.
