I hope you’re doing great. It’s been about two years since I’ve completed the loudspeaker 2 and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work!
This speaker has completely changed my perspective on music listening. My wife and I listen to music now almost everyday and it’s completely replaced our TV watching habits.
When I fist set up the speaker I was really impressed by the soundstage and the details that it was able to reproduce, but as time went on I realised that with this speaker it doesn’t matter any more! What’s incredible is the dynamic and live like reproduction! The scale it manages! Thinks can be small and gigantic within heartbeats. The speed, the deep base! And most of all this speaker is so natural and low distortion that i can listen to it literally for days (12-14 hours in one sitting!) and still want more! What is really incredible as well is the off axis experience. One can sit quite far off axis and still get most of the experience!
This speaker has completely transformed my view on speakers and I’m not interested in Hi-Fi speakers any more! I’d be curious though what more membrane area can do (2x15” midrange per side as Devon Turnbull does).
All this to say thank you for providing such amazing kits and I hope you can enjoy the success you have. You truly deserve it.
