I got my speakers finished and have been listening these for few days. Gotta say I’m satisfied. I have also built Faital 3WC-12 and these TL fives dig deeper with more authority, but also the highs are bit more clear and detailed.
I have also pair of sealed 15” diy-subs and these are almost redundant at this point. In room response of TL5 is down to 30Hz.
I made the back of tweeter/midrange enclosure just straight instead of angled, mainly because I have limited tools and working spaces. My local plywood shop cuts the panels according to my plans, but no angles.
I have walnut veneer on sides, baffles and backside of enclosures are painted black. Some linen fabric on grills.
