Troels, I finally got the Illuminator 71s up and running.  My first impression was underwhelming, I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about.  But after some 8-10 hours of playing they came alive, the dynamics are spectacular with fantastic clarity.  Bass isn't as extended as my Discovery 861, but has much better definition.  To burn them in, I have been using my push pull 2A3 amplifiers, and they have no problem driving them to decent levels, which is a huge surprise.  My intention was to drive them with my LFD amplifier, which I may have to revisit.
