Hey man,

I know you get tons of emails, so I'll refresh your memory. This is me... http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/NOMEX164-Dana.htm.

I just built your, Peerless HDS PPB 830860 + ScanSpeak D2604/830000  kit for my home office with the HDS kit from Madisound for a center channel that uses the 4" version of this driver with the Vifa XT.  Pictures are attached. I forgot to take pictures before I started installing the Xover, so i took them from the driver hole and I need a new desk...but feel free to use these pictures and anything else from this email for your "builders page."

I have a 43" UHD TV that I watch movies on and game, and now hopefully listen to some music some too.  Between the wife and kids I have to watch TV game etc, in here. I have a gaming PC so it works out, but the horrible 2" Logitech full range speaker system I had in here wasn't making it! I'm attaching the pictures I took.

The sound. Well, it's not fair to compare these to the Logitech PC speakers I've had in here for years, but I'll do it anyway.

I guess if you include my bastardized Mark21 center kit I built this will be the 3rd kit of yours I built. I'm again pleasantly impressed. Frankly, it's hard to put into words. Thank you so much for what you have done.

When I was young, and my appreciation grew for quality, Audiophile, and since I couldn't afford the stuff I really wanted, I had looked at direct to market speaker builders, like ACI, (Audio Concepts Inc,), and had a pair of theirs I had gotten from my brother, and when they took a dump I didn't know what I was going to do. I spent years looking at websites, debating if I could or should do a DIY speaker kit. I found my self back on your website over and over again, I have spent COUNTLESS hours on your website. I mean literally countless hours.

While I was going through all this, learning about Audophile, I had one good childhood friend that was like an older brother to me. We spent countless hours talking about DIY speakers, Xovers, etc. And neither of us knew what we were talking about. He was older, so he knew more than me, but only by a little.

He would never build a DIY, speaker, the Xover build and soldering, frankly he was just not willing to attempt. Sadly, he died of cancer before I built the Nomex 164's, so I did not get to share the experience with him. The reason I am telling you this...to share it with you, so you know how much you mean to the DIY community! My buddy Greg, wouldn't believe what the Nomex 164's sound like. What's more, he wouldn't believe I built these. However, I would have made sure, like I do with everyone who hears the speakers I have built, to tell them, "I just know how to follow instructions."

So I want you to know, my best friend Greg would be so happy for me if he were alive, and you've done that!

I hope this email finds you and yours well.
